Hello Fellow Sound Travelers (and a special hello to Anu in the Netherlands),
As you know Life In Balance is in perpetual change. The goal is to be as affective as we possible can. Our sound is always in a state of evolution and growth. We feel we have finally reached the next plateau with the addition of our newest musical instrument, one that interacts with Steve's neurological processes.
We have recently added a Hartmann Neuron Keyboard to our set up. There were only about 300 these made and are extremely hard to find. We have been searching for three years.
The Neuron uses a form of Artificial Intelligence and memory recognition as it develops its Binaural soundscapes. It builds internal neuronic networks that offers 3 dimensional sound choices based on the performers intent and needs. All in glorious 5.1 surround sound! This blends perfectly with LIB's core philosophy of connecting the sacred with leading edge technologies. These are all steps in our evolutionary journey. This new tool is very exciting and we will be introducing the Neuron into our sound healing meditations and concerts over the next few months.
Ami continues to connect and expand with her ever growing Quartz Crystal Bowl family.
Our latest CD "Crystal Bowl Meditation a vibratory journey into deep meditative states", is now available through the iTunes store. For only $9.99 you can download a copy with out leaving your home or body. "Crystal Bowl Meditation" joins our other CDs, "Soundhealer", "Star" and "Om to Ohm" as digital downloads. The new CD has been receiving great reviews and has been charting really well.
While we're on thesubject, we thank you for helping in making our CD release celebration and Sleep Festival at Your Inner Vagabond last month a wonderful and effective success. It was truly heart warming to see so many of our long time friends again. We are a strong and focused vibrational energy family. Reviews of the New Life In Balance CD "Crystal Bowl Meditation - A vibratory Journey into Deep Meditative States"
On "Crystal Bowl Meditation," Life In Balance returns to its roots: glimmering, sparkling crystal bowls and other percussion dance around Steve Sciulli's (often multitracked) flutes and synthesizers creating some of the purest and most beautiful ambient music extant. On "CBM," though, Steve adds just enough piano and electronics to recall the "ambient-chamber" sound of artists like Tim Story and Eno, and adds a new timbre to the sound palette of Life In Balance. This is the kind of music for which the "repeat" mode of your CD player was created. Some may listen to the music in conjunction with meditation or yoga, while others will play "CBM" and let the music find its own space. Either way, "CBM" sounds like another instant classic from Steve and Ami Sciulli, the Synthesizer, flute and percussion duo fortuitously titled Life in Balance.

Our latest CD: Crystal Bowl Meditation is available worldwide. Go to The Relaxation Company for more info or to order your copy. Life In Balance CD, OM to OHM is available on Koch Records and can be ordered on-line or at your favorite store. We have a self released CD called "Soundhealer". This is the closest that we have come to capturing a live sound healing meditation on disc. "Soundhealer" includes the spoken DNA activation meditation that is used during our live sessions. "Soundhealer" is currently available only in a limited run and won't be sold in retail stores. To order it and to sample bits of the music go to: CD Baby and is also available through iTunes.
Our "Star" CD is global in its reach. This is music for active listening, for dancing and driving. "Star" is the "out-breath" with "Soundhealer" and "Live" as the "in-breath". To order "Star" through CD Baby click HERE.
Our other self released CD is "LIVE". This music is similar to our live sound healing meditations but without the spoken section. "Live" is available directly through us via our website or in person. "Star" and "Sounderhealer" are $15 each and "LIVE" is $10, plus s/h.
