Good News - after nine years of being independent artists Life In Balance signs a RECORDING CONTRACT!!!!
This happened this past June in Denver during our last cross-country tour.Detail to follow very shortly. Positive change is happening.
We will be releasing a new disc called "Om to Ohm" scheduled for release Nov/Dec.
This is big news for us as this is a significant step in reaching critical mass, what we have been aiming for since the beginning - gaining mass media attention to spread "sound healing" to the general public through the quartz crystal bowls, electronics and world flutes .
As many of the Pittsburgh locals know, we started in 1997 in the back room of Frank Carroll’s Mandala Bookstore. Our first CD – "remember who you are – one" was hand made, each individually signed and numbered. We sold over 2000 of these by playing every chance we got, a lot of times for free. The idea back then was that we would meet each person who brought our CD. Now after many tours and five CDs later we will have access toward getting our music out to the world.
We realize that our work has just begun. Only now will we be able to fulfill what we believe is our divine plan, our piece in the reawakening of consciousness – waking up from the collective dream (or nightmare).
We are finishing July with our scheduled concerts: The Ingenuity Festival in Cleveland, OH; the All Good Festival (we’ve been upgraded to the main stage) in Masontown, WV; and the Starwood Festival in Sherman, NY (see list below). We are keeping a low profile in August as we absorb all that has happened and to recharge for the next phase, planning the next step and making time for each other.
