The Events:
FREE PERFORMANCE IN AUGUST
Each year in August Life In Balance performs a free audience appreciation concert in Pittsburgh, PA. This year's free "thank you" show will be part of The Ellsworth Music, Arts and Dance Showcase 2005.
Life In Balance will be performing with guitarist Maurice Rickard, Jack Schmitt on drums we will be also adding dancers, for a big "outdoors" summer sound. The concert is on Saturday August 13th at 7 pm on the main stage. Ellsworth Ave is located in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh, PA. For those that haven't heard us lately come out and see why "Sound Healing" is an ever-evolving expression of the highest vibe.
Life In Balance will be performing at the "Grateful Fest" the weekend of August 19th and 21st at the Nelson Ledges Quarry Park near Cleveland, OH. Come and experience the quartz bowls, electronically enhanced flutes and electronics under the August full moon for a super sonic summer trip. Oh, and feel free to go swimming in the lake! The News:
We have recently returned from one of our most successful tours so far. This is the first tour that we actually took the time to discover back roads and experience the Beauty and Solitude behind the outlet malls and highways.
This long and dreamy trip started in Washington DC and took us through the meditative cornfields of Iowa then into the vastly spacious Wyoming west; from the snowy Rocky Mountain peaks to hip and metro Kansas City, MO. We finally landed in the mud fields surrounded by 20,000 people at the "All Good Festival" near Morgantown, WV . "waking people up" with a morning musical set. But more was still to come as we headed to New York State to perform in the "surround sound" excellents of the Puffer Dome at the "clothing optional"
Starwood Festival. Life In Balance has taken on an edge.
While traveling, it was wonderful to find out that our music was played to a potential audience of 200,000 people on the syndicated radio program "Music from the Hearts of Space". Fantastic!
Now we're back home.....to work and to raise Life In Balance onto the next level.
We will be signing a licensing deal with "Crystal Tones" and releasing through them our CD "live" (a re-working of our original "live").
Crystal Tones is the manufacturer of the Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls and the inventors of the practitioner and the hybrid High Frequency Next Generation Bowls. Look for the official release of "live" in autumn.
Also in the works is our next studio CD "Sound Healer". This new CD (our first in over a year) is designed to be interactive. The intent is to give the listener tools to create their own sound healing environment. Empowering the listener is our creed..everything that you need is encoded inside of you (the line taken from our spoken meditation).
Create and Evolve.
Also this month, we begin writing music for a Brazilian healer/shaman's meditation CD. We have collaborated with this healer on several occasions and this recording will be a natural extension of this powerful union.
We love collaborations and we're always pushing towards newer evolutionary heights. If it doesn't aid in our growth and hybridization then it's not worth pursuing.
In the future we will be performing more with Maurice Rickard and others as we develop a sound healing environment that can truly take us all a bit higher.
Mind and consciousness expansion is our business and personal transformation is our goal.
